Brazil-based isaac Enters into Agreement To Be Acquired by Arco
Gunderson Dettmer represented Brazil-based client isaac, a suite of financial and software products for K-12 schools, in its acquisition by Arco, a software that offers technology, services, and content for grades K-12. Paid in the form of equity, Arco will acquire 75.1% of the share capital of isaac in order to expand its footprint in Brazil and increase its portfolio of products making it a one-stop-shop for schools.
In the announcement of the acquisition, CEO and co-founder of isaac David Peixoto said, “Combining Arco and isaac solutions will provide school owners with more tools to offer high quality education to all students. We are joining forces with Arco because there is a huge opportunity to utilize each other’s strengths to build an even better business. We will continue to build the isaac brand and culture in our own unique way, and we believe Arco is the best partner to help us do this over the long term.”
