In its 2016 Global League Tables report, Pitchbook ranked Gunderson Dettmer number one in global deal activity, number one in U.S. deal activity and in 13 other specific regions and sectors. Gunderson completed nearly 25% more transactions globally than its nearest competitor in 2016.

Pitchbook also recognized the firm’s role in venture backed IPO’s and M&A activity. In 2016 Gunderson Dettmer negotiated more exits for its venture-backed technology clients than any other firm.
