Erica advises venture capitalists and companies on intellectual property, technology, and privacy aspects of venture capital financings and M&A deals. She represents a wide variety of technology companies, from consumer internet, software, bioscience, telecommunications, financial technology, and entertainment technology industries, as well as a number of leading venture capital firms.

Erica is a Certified Information Privacy Professional (CIPP), holding the U.S. private-sector privacy certification granted by the International Association of Privacy Professionals (IAPP), the global standard in privacy certification. The CIPP/US certification demonstrates strong foundation in U.S. private-sector privacy laws and regulations and understanding of the legal requirements for the responsible transfer of sensitive personal data to/from the U.S., the EU and other jurisdictions.
