Erica is an associate in the Licensing, Strategic Partnering and Commercial Transactions group.
Erica’s practice focuses on intellectual property and technology asset strategy, protection, licensing and commercialization. She specializes in corporate partnering, strategic alliances, data privacy, data protection, and joint ventures.
Erica advises venture capitalists and companies on intellectual property, technology, and privacy aspects of venture capital financings and M&A deals. She represents a wide variety of technology companies, from consumer internet, software, bioscience, telecommunications, financial technology, and entertainment technology industries, as well as a number of leading venture capital firms.
Erica is a Certified Information Privacy Professional (CIPP), holding the U.S. private-sector privacy certification granted by the International Association of Privacy Professionals (IAPP), the global standard in privacy certification. The CIPP/US certification demonstrates strong foundation in U.S. private-sector privacy laws and regulations and understanding of the legal requirements for the responsible transfer of sensitive personal data to/from the U.S., the EU and other jurisdictions.
