Tessy Tu focuses on cross-border corporate and securities transactions, venture capital and private equity financings, and corporate governance and compliance matters. She advises companies across a range of industries, including TMT, consumer, biotechnology, and financial services, on U.S. and Hong Kong public offerings, private equity financings, and general corporate and securities matters.

Prior to joining Gunderson Dettmer, Tessy worked in the Hong Kong offices of leading international law firms and in the New York office of a boutique securities law firm. She holds an LL.M. from Northwestern University Pritzker School of Law, a Master of Common Law from The University of Hong Kong, and an LL.B. from Guangdong University of Foreign Studies. She is admitted to practice law in New York State.
