
Sam Lala
Sam is an associate in our Strategic Transactions & Licensing practice in the firm’s New York office.
Sam focuses on corporate partnering, strategic alliances, commercial agreements, and the protection and commercialization of intellectual property and technology assets. He regularly works with clients on licensing, technology development and commercialization arrangements, strategic partnerships, data and content agreements, and other complex commercial matters. He supports companies at each stage of growth as they develop, acquire, protect, and monetize innovative products and technologies.
Prior to joining Gunderson, Sam was an associate in the New York office of Paul, Weiss, where he practiced in the funds group on continuation and secondary fund vehicles and in the M&A group on public and private transactions, as well as acquisition-related intellectual property matters. Sam received his J.D., magna cum laude, from Northwestern Pritzker School of Law, where he served as Deputy Editor‑in‑Chief of the Northwestern University Law Review.
