Jon specializes in the representation of emerging growth companies throughout their lifecycles. His practice focuses on general corporate counseling, venture capital financings, and mergers and acquisitions. He works with technology and other high-growth companies, as well as venture capital firms, on matters ranging from formation and corporate governance to complex financing transactions.

Before joining Gunderson Dettmer, Jon was an associate at Milbank LLP in Los Angeles, where he gained experience advising clients on sophisticated corporate and transactional matters. He also served as a judicial intern for the Honorable Rudolph Contreras of the U.S. District Court for the District of Columbia, and has additional experience in public service and the arts that informs his practical, business-oriented approach to counseling clients.
