
Archie "AJ" Wilson, Jr.
Archie is a Corporate Associate in the Atlanta office.
Archie is an entrepreneur and corporate lawyer who represents startups and investors. He works with private and public companies spanning the entire corporate lifecycle, including company formation and entity selection, general corporate representation and counseling, venture capital financings of equity and debt securities, and mergers and acquisitions. Archie also represents funds of all stages in their investment activities.
Archie leverages his legal experience at a global consumer products company and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit, together with his prior work as a full-time entrepreneur, Entrepreneur in Residence at Wesleyan University (CT), and Director of Entrepreneur Programming at the Russell Innovation Center for Entrepreneurs, to bring a practical, business-focused perspective to complex transactions for innovative and high-growth companies.
Archie graduated cum laude from the University of Georgia School of Law, holds an M.A. in Creative and Innovative Education concentrating in Entrepreneurship and Business from Georgia State University, and a B.A. in Government from Wesleyan University (CT), where he was a member of the varsity football team. Prior to joining Gunderson Dettmer, he practiced in the Atlanta office of King & Spalding LLP.
