Mercury Fund and Notion Capital Lead OpenTrade’s $17 Million Financing

Gunderson Dettmer represented Mercury Fund and Notion Capital as lead investors in the $17 million financing of OpenTrade. a16z Crypto, AlbionVC, and CMCC Global also participated in the round, bringing the company’s total funding to more than $30 million.

OpenTrade, a stablecoin infrastructure platform, will use the new funding to expand its permissioned and permissionless infrastructure and support plans to grow its asset management and trading teams.

The Gunderson deal team was led by Wes Watts and included Alex Devine and Kori Rady.
