Jüsto Partners with Amazon to Expand Amazon’s Inventory of Fresh Products in Mexico
Gunderson Dettmer represented client Jüsto, a Mexico-based grocery delivery startup, in its partnership with Amazon. Jüsto’s platform enables customers to buy groceries online and have them delivered to their location of choice. The partnership, which enables Mexico Amazon shoppers to purchase items ranging from fresh produce to meat and fish from Jüsto, helps Amazon expand the inventory of fresh products and supermarket staples available to shoppers and gives the startup greater online visibility.
In the announcement of the partnership, Jüsto CEO and co-founder Ricardo Weder said, “Jüsto is going to be Amazon’s produce and grocery proposal in Mexico. It’s one of the few times where Amazon has left all of the client’s experience to a third party, so we’re very excited.”
The Gunderson Dettmer deal team was led by partner Brad Krack and included associates Federico Varni and Eduardo Espinosa de los Monteros Pereda.
