Brian is partner and a member of the firm's growth equity financings team.
Brian represents investors and companies in financings and other transactions across industries and regions. Brian has significant experience in early, mid and late stage investments by growth equity and venture capital clients, including in the consumer internet, software, life sciences, health tech, fintech, edtech and robotics industries. Brian has also advised many companies and investors on mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures and other strategic transactions.
Brian has worked in New York, Hong Kong and London, gaining experience on cross-border matters spanning the globe. He has been quoted in the Financial Times on venture capital activity. Brian’s representative transactions include financings of Spotify, Tesla, Paytm, Qonto, Dataiku, Deliverr, Byju's, Nuro, Upstox, ShopUp, Bytedance (TikTok) and Tencent Music Entertainment and M&A and joint venture transactions with Mastercard, SoftBank, Uber, Roche, JP Morgan, Heineken and a number of financial investors.
