Gunderson Dettmer represented client Kinea Ventures in co-leading the Series A financing of Nagro, a Brazil-based agtech. Nagro's platform helps deliver fair loans directly to farmers in minutes and develops a financial ecosystem for the agribusiness value chain. In total, the startup has raised R$245 million in 2023 between credit and equity funding to help consolidate itself as a 'one stop shop' for business and credit for input suppliers and rural producers.

In the announcement of the transaction, Nagro CMO Mateus Carrijo said, "We want to help improve the quality of credit granted. Support industry and distributors to do more business with technology and smart credit. And mainly supporting small and medium-sized producers in all phases of their business, from short-term working capital operations to long-term investments."
