Gunderson Dettmer represented client Gigafund as it led the $74 million Series C financing of Lambda School, a platform that runs virtual nine- and 18-month (part-time) computer science courses. CEO of Lambda Austen Allred noted that the plan will be to use the funds to help the startup meet a surge in demand for its courses.

In the announcement of the transaction partner of Gigafund Stephen Oskoui said, “Gigafund is very focused on the strength of those that we think will build for multiple decades, and the model for how Lambda School is operating has the potential for tremendous impact.”
