Yan Zhang is a member of the firm’s China practice and venture fund formation practice group.

Yan focuses her practice on the representation of global and Asian private equity/venture capital fund sponsors in the fundraising of global and Asian funds. Yan provides legal services to funds in all stages of their operations, and regularly advises them on fund formation and governance matters, including the preparation of offering materials, drafting of operating agreements, the overall fundraising process, compliance with securities laws, investor relations and all aspects of day-to-day firm matters.

Yan earned her Juris Doctor degree from the George Washington University Law School and her bachelor’s degree in Russian Language and Literature from Fudan University. She is admitted to practice in the District of Columbia.
