Reed specializes in the representation of emerging growth companies throughout their lifecycles. His practice focuses on general corporate counseling, venture capital financings, and mergers and acquisitions. He represents a wide variety of technology and growth-oriented companies as well as venture capital and other private equity investors.

Prior to joining Gunderson Dettmer, Reed was an associate in the corporate/private equity group at Weil, Gotshal & Manges LLP in Boston, where he advised private equity sponsors and their portfolio companies on a range of strategic transactions.
