Matteen works with emerging growth companies and investors on a variety of corporate matters, including venture capital financings, mergers and acquisitions, corporate governance and general corporate counseling. Matteen supports clients throughout the business lifecycle, from formation and early-stage financing through strategic transactions and other growth-stage matters.

Before joining Gunderson Dettmer, Matteen was an associate at Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom LLP. He received his J.D. from the University of Toronto Faculty of Law.
