Jaime specializes in the representation of emerging growth companies throughout their lifecycles. His practice focuses on general corporate counseling, venture capital financings, and mergers and acquisitions. He works with technology companies and venture capital investors on strategic transactions, day-to-day governance matters, and complex financing arrangements.

Before joining Gunderson Dettmer, Jaime practiced in the M&A and private equity group at Fried Frank in New York, where he advised private equity sponsors and corporate clients on domestic and cross-border acquisitions, dispositions, and other strategic transactions. He also has experience providing pro bono legal services to community-based organizations and entrepreneurs through his work with Start Small Think Big and other legal service providers.
