Sunday Robotics Raises $165 Million Series B at $1.15 Billion Valuation
Gunderson Dettmer represented Sunday Robotics, the company building helpful home robots, in its oversubscribed $165 million Series B financing, valuing the company at $1.15 billion. The round was led by Coatue with participation from Bain Capital Ventures, Fidelity Management & Research Company, Tiger Global, Benchmark, Conviction, Xtal Ventures, and others.
The new capital will directly enable the deployment of autonomous robots to people's homes later this year.
“We raised our Series B to stop giving demos,” said Tony Zhao, CEO of Sunday, in the announcement of the transaction. “Now, we're focusing entirely on deployment, with Beta deliveries starting in just months. Data has always been the biggest bottleneck in robotics. We built the only pipeline that turns the complexity of real-world homes into autonomous intelligence at scale.”
The Gunderson deal team was led by Ivan Gaviria and included Greg Kinzelman, Jesse Birbach, Maurice Osei, Mark Mabry, and Elizabeth Song.
