Elephant Leads $27.7M Series A Financing of Triple Whale

Gunderson Dettmer represented client Elephant as it led the $27.7 million Series A financing of Triple Whale, an all-in-one operating system for Shopify. Triple Whale’s platform provides data discovery, documentation, monitoring of business metrics of e-commerce sales, and more to be assessed and viewed in real-time. The new capital will enable Triple Whale to expand its development team and integrate additional components to its platform.

In the announcement of the transaction, Founder and General Partner at Elephant Andrew Hunt said, “Triple Whale was built by e-commerce operators who understand how critical real-time operating performance visibility is for success.”

The Gunderson deal team was led by Michael Hacker, Tim Kulis, James Gately, Alexandra Noymer, and Rithika Kulathila.
