Chen Gao is a legal consultant at our Beijing office. Chen specializes in venture capital, private equity and general corporate matters. He has extensive experience providing legal service for institutional investors and strategic investors, and represents a wide variety of emerging growth companies from biomedicine, industrial hardware, consumer internet, media, entertainment technology, AI and education industries throughout their lifecycles. Chen also represents prominent domestic enterprises in offshore initial public offerings.
Chen obtained his LL.M. from Law School of New York University and LL.B. from Shanghai International Studies University, and has passed PRC bar exams. He worked at a top-tier PRC law firm prior to joining Gunderson Dettmer.
