Players’ Lounge Raises $10.5M Series A for Future Expansion

Gunderson Dettmer represented client Players’ Lounge, an online gaming and wagering platform, in its $10.5 million Series A financing led by Griffin Gaming Partners. Players’ Lounge allows users to compete for cash prizes by playing video games from the comfort of their homes. The company plans to use its new capital to expand outside of sports games and launch new wagering features.

In the announcement of the transaction, Co-Founder of Players’ Lounge Austin Woolridge said, “Our vision has been to give all gamers, regardless of their skill level, the ability to earn and win money playing their favorite triple-A video games.”

The Gunderson deal team was led by Randall Clark and included Jose Rivera, Chiyel Hayles, Edwin Diaz, Jeff Ong, Aliya Sanders, and Bernard Stanford.
