isaac Raises $125M Series B Financing
Gunderson Dettmer represented client isaac, a school financial management platform, in its $125 million Series B financing led by General Atlantic. The new capital will enable isaac to add more tools to its platform to become the ‘operating system’ of primary education. The company’s platform enables tuition fees to be paid digitally and includes an interface for communication with students’ families.
In the announcement of the transaction, co-founder and CEO of isaac David Peixoto said, “Today we are digitizing the entire payment process for schools, which, for the most part, still operate based on bank slips, spending a lot of energy and providing poor payment experience for their clients. Our solution also saves the maintainers time, which can now be allocated to more value-creating activities.”
The Gunderson deal team was led by Adan Muller and included Khadijah Owens and Rafael Bellaver.
