Gunderson Dettmer represented Brazil-based client Justos, an automotive insurance application, in its $5.5 million financing with participation by MSR Capital. Justos uses artificial intelligence to analyze and process requests for new insurance, reduce the time to resolve claims and define risk and pricing models based on the driver's driving quality. This new model enables insurers to charge an individualized value for each driver. The new capital will be used to hire and expand the area of operations and toward launching other lines of insurance.
