Gunderson Dettmer represented client 99minutos, a Mexico-based company specializing in low cost and same-day delivery of online shopping products, in its $82 million Series C financing led by OAK HC/FT with participation from Kaszek and Prosus Ventures. The company will use its new capital to continue expansion throughout Latin America, scale new business models, and invest in new sustainability initiatives in line with the company’s low-carbon goals.

In the announcement of the transaction, CEO of 99minutos Alexis Patjane said, “We are eager to continue investing in our technology and infrastructure with the goal of becoming the largest, most sustainable provider of e-commerce logistics in Spanish-speaking LatAm. These ambitions inspired us to partner with the expert team at Oak HC/FT.”

The Gunderson deal team was led by Dan Green and included Adam Spaulding and Joe McGinley with support from Aaron Fiske and Jamilah Mena.
