Margaux is a corporate and securities associate in our New York office.
Margaux represents technology companies at all stages of the start-up lifecycle. She regularly advises early and late-stage companies, investors, and founders on venture capital financings, formations, venture debt lines and M&A transactions, with a special focus on complex, cross-border acquisitions.
Margaux’s emerging growth clients cover a range of industries including consumer products, online and print media, cryptocurrency, software and SaaS, hardware, fin tech, and entertainment technology, as well as a number of leading venture capital funds. While many of Margaux’s clients are based in New York, she has also represented businesses in Singapore, India, the United Kingdom, Spain and Israel.
In the past, Margaux has represented publicly-traded and privately-held global companies, investment banks and private equity firms in connection with leveraged buy-out, capital markets and syndicated lending transactions. Prior to joining Gunderson Dettmer, Margaux practiced at the New York office of Wilson Sonsini Goodrich & Rosati and she began her career as a Wall Street lawyer at Cahill Gordon & Reindel. She is a member of the Gunderson Dettmer’s Women’s Committee and a founding member of the Gunderson Associates’ Committee. When outside the office, Margaux can be found sailing on the Hudson or biking in upstate New York.
