Taylor is an intellectual property associate in our San Diego office.
Taylor specializes in corporate partnering, strategic alliances, technology protection, and licensing and commercialization of intellectual property and technology assets. He also focuses on transactional intellectual property issues related to venture financing and M&A activities.
Prior to joining Gunderson Dettmer, Taylor was a patent litigation associate in the San Diego office of Wilson Sonsini Goodrich & Rosati, where he primarily focused on ANDA (abbreviated new drug application) cases involving pharmaceuticals and medical devices.
Taylor has also been committed to pro bono activities during his law practice. In recognition of this, he received the John Wilson Award from the pro bono committee of Wilson Sonsini Goodrich & Rosati in recognition of outstanding legal service to the firm’s pro bono clients for 2018-2019. Taylor also received the 2019 pro bono publico award from Casa Cornelia Law Center in San Diego.
Taylor received his J.D. from the George Washington University Law School and his B.A. in Biology from Whittier College, where he also played on the NCAA Division III men’s tennis team for all four years.
