Khalil is an associate in the Licensing, Strategic Partnering and Commercial Transactions group.
Khalil specializes in corporate partnering, strategic alliances, technology protection, and licensing and commercialization of intellectual property and technology assets.
Khalil focuses on transactional IP issues arising related to our clients’ financing and M&A activities. Khalil represents a wide variety of technology companies from consumer internet, software, telecommunications, and entertainment technology industries, as well as a number of leading venture capital firms. Prior to joining Gunderson, Khalil was an associate in the New York office of Willkie Farr & Gallagher LLP, where he focused on the intellectual property and technology aspects of M&A transactions and financings. Khalil has also worked as in-house counsel at IBM, and at a fintech company.
Prior to attending law school, Khalil worked in the IT sector as a consultant and an engineer.
