Keien specializes in corporate partnering, strategic alliances, technology protection, and licensing and commercialization of intellectual property and technology assets.
Keien focuses on transactional IP issues related to our clients’ financing and M&A activities.
Prior to joining Gunderson Dettmer, Keien was an Advanced Media and Technology Associate at Loeb & Loeb, where he counseled clients on intellectual property and privacy matters for a wide variety of companies in various industries such as real estate, advertising and marketing, hospitality, consumer products, technology, telecommunications, and sports and entertainment. Before private practice, Keien served as in-house counsel at one of Fortune’s “25 Most Important Private Companies.”
Outside of work, Keien enjoys spending time with his dog and serving as a Junior Board Member for Cypress Hills Local Development Corporation, an organization that provides educational, economic, housing, and family services and programs for the East New York community.
