Joel T. Diamond

Joel specializes in the representation of emerging growth companies throughout their lifecycles as well as venture capital investors. He maintains a broad practice including representing life sciences companies in the biotechnology, pharmaceutical, medical device, diagnostics and healthcare IT industries as well as technology companies in the consumer internet, software, telecommunications and energy industries.

Joel’s practice focuses on intellectual property transactions, e.g., licensing, collaborations and other strategic partnerships, as well as mergers and acquisitions, financings, commercial contracts and general counseling. His practice spans the entire corporate lifecycle, from formation through liquidity. He regularly counsels companies in commercial transactions, including foundational licenses, early life cycle vendor agreements and later life cycle collaborations.

Joel’s representative company clients include Be Biopharma, Carbon Biosciences, Larkspur Biosciences, Photys Therapeutics, RIGImmune, RNAConnect and Solu Therapeutics.

Rounding out his practice, Joel also represents a number of prominent venture capital funds and institutional investors on their commercial contracts and other transactional needs.
