Jeffrey L. Stricker

Jeff is a partner in Gunderson Dettmer’s New York office. He advises venture capital, growth equity and other private equity funds on their investment activities, operations and portfolio management. He works with investment funds in both US and international transactions spanning equity and debt financings (including numerous bespoke structured equity and convertible securities offerings), secondary liquidity transactions, mergers and acquisitions, public offerings and other exit transactions, in addition to other corporate and securities law matters.

Jeff has been representing funds throughout his career. He brings extensive knowledge of the market and how evolving trends impact deals, which he uses to provide practical, real-world advice to his clients. He is an active advisor, leveraging his experience and commercial know-how to help clients anticipate problems, quickly cut to the core of thorny issues and seize opportunities. He has a track record of successful strategies to reduce complications, remove uncertainty and improve efficiency in transactions, regardless of their size and complexity.

Jeff also has deep experience representing emerging growth companies and other venture- or private equity-backed companies in many industries, such as technology, healthcare, manufacturing and energy. He combines his knowledge and results-oriented approach with Gunderson’s industry-leading experience representing companies of all stages in their financings, IPOs and M&A transactions to every engagement, including by leveraging the firm’s latest proprietary knowledge and tools.
