Heidi has represented both corporations and investment banks in more than 100 IPOs and complex capital markets transactions.
Heidi practices corporate and securities law, with a focus on public offerings and other capital markets transactions. She works with clients across a broad range of industries, including software, internet, big data, retail, life sciences, telecommunications, hardware, and energy and clean technology. She has represented both corporations and investment banks in more than 100 IPOs and complex capital markets transactions. She also advises late-stage private companies on the IPO process and represents public companies in corporate governance matters and reporting obligations.
Heidi is a frequent speaker on topics relating to capital markets transactions. She co-authored several chapters discussing IPO processes in the widely-used treatise Venture Capital and Public Offering Negotiation and is a co-author of By the Numbers: Venture-Backed IPOs in 2015. She recently co-authored a chapter in the NYSE Entrepreneur’s Roadmap: From Concept to IPO. Prior to joining Gunderson Dettmer, she was a partner at Pillsbury Winthrop Shaw Pittman.
