Wenli is a Director of Innovation Engagement at Gunderson Dettmer, where she helps lawyers integrate artificial intelligence, technology, and practical innovation into their day-to-day legal work. Wenli works closely with attorneys across offices and practice groups to identify high-impact workflows, build practical fluency with the firm’s innovation capabilities, and help lawyers deliver legal services more efficiently and effectively.

Before joining the Knowledge Management & Innovation team, Wenli was an Associate General Counsel at Lone Pine Capital and a Consultant for Thrive Capital Management. Prior to that, Wenli was a Corporate Associate here at the firm, where she advised emerging growth companies, venture capital investors, and other clients on a range of corporate transactions at the firm. Her practice included venture financings, mergers and acquisitions, corporate governance and advising corporate boards. Wenli began her legal career as an M&A attorney at Simpson Thacher & Bartlett.

Having practiced alongside the lawyers she now supports, Wenli brings a firsthand understanding of the pace, judgment, collaboration, and attention to detail that excellent client service requires.
