Jen serves as a firm-wide resource to review, clear and consult on conflicts of interest in accordance with the applicable ethical rules and in compliance with firm policies. Jen collaborates with firm attorneys regarding the acceptance of new business, including resolving ethical and business conflicts of interest, drafting engagement and conflict waiver letters, reviewing and negotiating outside counsel guidelines, and implementing ethical walls to reduce the firm’s risk profile.

Prior to joining Gunderson Dettmer, Jen was a Supervising Attorney at the State Bar of California where she prosecuted attorneys for ethical misconduct and litigated regulatory matters in civil court to uphold the integrity of the legal profession. Before that, Jen served as a prosecutor for the San Francisco District Attorney’s Office and advocated for underserved communities at Asian Pacific Islander Legal Outreach.

Outside of the office, Jen enjoys photography and cheering on Angel City FC with her husband and two kids.
