Gunderson Dettmer’s China office was delighted to participate in China Venture Capital Finance Organization’s (“CVCFO”) 15th Annual Conference and Welcome Dinner on September 19 and 20, 2024 in Shenzhen, China. As one of Greater China Region’s most important and renowned events in the venture capital (VC) and private equity (PE) industry, the Annual Conference attracted numerous prominent professionals and investors from the VC/PE industry to share insights and valuable content.

The Welcome Dinner & 15th Anniversary Celebration was successfully held at the Shenzhen Mandarin Oriental on September 19. David Wang, Partner of Gunderson Dettmer’s Beijing and Singapore offices, gave the welcome remarks. On September 20, Richard Chang, Partner of Gunderson Dettmer’s Beijing office, delivered the opening speech and shared insights on the panel “Exits by Venture Capital Funds from their Portfolio Companies.” Anna Zhang, Of Counsel of Gunderson Dettmer’s Beijing and Singapore offices, participated on the legal panel, discussing insights and best practices around topics such as  “The impact of U.S. Reverse CFIUS Proposed Rules on China-focused Venture Capital Funds” and the “U.S. Corporate Transparency Act.”

CVCFO is a non-profit association of finance professionals in venture capital and private equity firms in the Greater China Region. Since 2009, CVCFO has attracted more than 600 members, representing nearly 320 venture capital firms from Shanghai, Beijing, Guangzhou, Hong Kong, Singapore and the United States.
