Valar Ventures Led $60M Series A Financing of BukuWarung

Gunderson Dettmer represented Valar Ventures as it led the $60 million Series A financing of BukuWarung, an Indonesia-headquartered accounting platform for businesses.

In an announcement of the transaction, Abhinay Peddisetty, BukuWarung co-founder and chief executive, said, “This investment will further help us build an operating system for MSMEs, creating a positive socio-economic impact across Indonesia as the country emerges from the Covid-19 pandemic.”

The Gunderson deal team was led by Nick Harley and included David He and Soo Guo Kai.
