Valar Ventures leads $18.6M Series A Financing of Syfe

Gunderson Dettmer represented client Valar Ventures in its $18.6M Series A investment of Syfe, a Singapore-based robo-advisor startup that wants to make investing more accessible in Asia.

In the announcement of the transaction founding partner of Valar Ventures Andrew McCormack said, “The potential of Asia as a region, with a fast-growing number of mass-affluent consumers aiming to grow their wealth, combined with the pedigree of the team and strong traction, makes Syfe a very compelling opportunity.”

The Gunderson deal team was led by Nick Harley and included Jolyn Ang and Vanessa Ho.
