Titan Raises $74M Financing Led by General Catalyst
Gunderson Dettmer represented client Titan, a holding company transforming IT services with AI, in its $74 million financing led by General Catalyst.
Titan is reimagining what the future of IT services looks like by combining augmented AI and high-quality human service. By equipping IT professionals with agentic AI capabilities, Titan enables technicians to move beyond reactive support and become strategic technology partners to their clients.
In the announcement of the transaction, the company also announced its acquisition of Richard Fleischman & Associates (RFA), a New York-based company with approximately 250 employees that primarily provides IT services to financial services customers. The move is part of Titan’s strategy to build an AI platform to work alongside its human staff, with much of the work handled by AI agents, autonomous bots that can perform tasks on behalf of humans. Co-founders Saurin Patel and David Heffernan noted that Titan plans to acquire additional IT services firms as it grows.
Mr. Patel added, “Titan’s long-term vision is that human staff become more akin to consultants for their business customers while AI agents handle the grunt work of IT support.”
The Gunderson deal team was led by Steve Baglio and included Sam Feldman, Darryl Long and Eric Peshkin.
