SignalFire Secures $1B in New Funding
Gunderson Dettmer represented client SignalFire, a leading venture capital firm known for its data-driven investment approach, in the successful close of over $1 billion across multiple new funds. The raise includes SignalFire’s fourth seed fund and its second breakout fund, enabling the firm to continue supporting early-stage startups and backing high-growth companies as they scale. With these new funds, SignalFire plans to deepen its commitment to founders in AI, healthcare, and enterprise software, leveraging its platform to provide unparalleled operational support and strategic guidance.
In the announcement of the fund formation, SignalFire founder and CEO Chris Farmer said, “We use our scale to outgun everyone at the seed,” noting that SignalFire has invested $100 million into some companies. That kind of capital is not readily available to most seed-focused firms.
The deal team was led by partners Andrew Fink and Steve Franklin and included associates Mike Mattheiss, Luke Charette and Hannah Carlson.
