Holly Ventures Announces $33M Cybersecurity Fund
Gunderson Dettmer represented client Holly Ventures in the formation of its $33 million debut fund, a solo-led cybersecurity vehicle built for early-stage cyber startups.
Holly Ventures invests exclusively in seed-stage cybersecurity companies. The firm provides founders with direct GP engagement, early-stage operating help and a high-density network, while remaining intentionally small and focused.
In the announcement of the fund, Holly Ventures founder John Brennan said, “Great early-stage security founders generally aren’t lacking for capital, but not all investor capital is created equal. Holly Ventures exists to work directly with teams as early as their ideation processes and is laser focused on supporting founders at the earliest stages of company building.”
The Gunderson deal team was led by Emma Eriksson Broomhead and included Remy Altman and Joe Chase-Fielding.
