Cinch Announces $28.8M Funding Led by Monk’s Hill Ventures
Gunderson Dettmer represented client Cinch, a Singapore-based Device-as-a-Service (DaaS) platform, in its $28.8 million funding round comprised of debt and equity, with the equity investment led by Monk’s Hill Ventures. The new capital will be used to scale the company’s circular tech ecosystem and subscription services across the region.
Founded in 2023, Cinch is redefining access to technology by offering subscription-based solutions for smartphones, laptops, and tablets—making cutting-edge devices more affordable by reducing upfront costs. The company partners with leading brands and serves as the official subscription partner for Samsung’s Galaxy S25 Series. In the announcement of the transaction, CEO and founder of Cinch Mahir Hamid said, “With rising costs, financing gaps, and increasing regulatory pressure on e-waste, Cinch is leading the shift towards circular access to tech.”
The Gunderson Dettmer deal team was led by David He and included Binh Vong.
