PRO BONO
Make a world of difference
Engaging in pro bono work offers many benefits. Professionally, attorneys can leverage their existing skills, such as communication and project/time management, while also acquiring new skills and exploring new areas of law. It fosters a sense of autonomy and facilitates the establishment of meaningful relationships, with both pro bono clients and colleagues across various practice groups or offices. Beyond expanding knowledge and fostering new connections, pro bono participation can help attorneys gain confidence and create a sense of purpose, enabling them to make positive and meaningful contributions to their community.
Our long-standing commitment to serving those in need within our communities runs deep. In 2023, we formally launched our Pro Bono Program, affording our attorneys the ability to make a profound impact by offering their legal expertise to those in need. From short-term clinics to long-term projects, our program serves as a catalyst for positive change and strives to advance equity within the tech and venture spheres.
Gunderson has partnered with a distinguished group of legal services organizations (LSOs) who represent a diverse array of industries and communities affording access to projects such as providing support to small business owners, low-income communities, veterans, and for immigration matters, children’s rights, animal rights, and many more important initiatives. Many of the LSOs with whom we partner offer substantial training and mentoring opportunities, along with the ability for attorneys to earn CLE credit.
