Chris Shen

Chris focuses his practice on the representation of global and Asian sponsors on the structuring, formation, organization and operation of private equity/venture capital funds. Chris advises funds in all stages of their operations, and regularly advises them on fund formation and governance matters, including the preparation of offering materials, drafting of operating agreements, the overall fundraising process, compliance with U.S. securities laws, investor relations and all aspects of day-to-day firm matters. Chris has also represented institutional investors on their investments into funds and advised sponsors on the formation of continuation funds.

Chris earned his law degree from the University of Melbourne (J.D.) and bachelor’s degree in Philosophy from Fudan University. He is admitted to practice in the State of New York, the State of Victoria, Australia and the PRC (non-practicing).
