Caitlin is a corporate associate in our Singapore office.
Caitlin works with founders, stakeholders and investors to grow enterprises from the back of a napkin to exit. She focuses on corporate structuring, capital raising, M&A, complex cross-border transactions and employee share schemes. She also works with clients on commercial issues such as software licensing, user terms, privacy, intellectual property protection and IT services agreements.
Caitlin studied law at the University of Waikato in New Zealand and graduated in 2014 with first class honors. She made the Dean’s list each year of study and came top in both the company law and dispute resolution papers.
Prior to joining Gunderson Dettmer, Caitlin trained with a top New Zealand firm specializing in corporate and commercial law, including a six-month secondment to the Civil Aviation Authority. She later became a founding team member of a well-regarded specialist technology law firm, and has completed multiple cross-border deals, including with two of the largest technology companies in the world. Caitlin is admitted as a barrister and solicitor of the High Court of New Zealand.
