Alex is an associate in the Strategic Transactions and Licensing group.
Alex specializes in corporate partnering, strategic alliances, technology protection, and licensing and commercialization of intellectual property and technology assets.
Alex focuses on transactional IP issues related to our clients’ financing and M&A activities.
Prior to joining Gunderson Dettmer, Alex practiced intellectual property litigation at WilmerHale, where he represented technology and life science companies in district court litigation and administrative proceedings before the PTAB.
In law school, Alex completed a legal internship for Google’s patent transactions team. Prior to attending law school, Alex worked as an engineer at Edwards Lifesciences, where he worked on bringing a minimally invasive bio-prosthetic heart valve to market.
