Albert is an associate in our Boston office.
Albert specializes in the representation of public companies emerging growth companies throughout their lifecycles. Albert is broadly experienced with initial public offerings, follow-on offerings, PIPE offerings, public company governance matters, public company reporting matters, venture capital financing transactions, and a variety of M&A transaction structures. Albert represents a wide variety of biotechnology companies in the pharmaceutical, biologics and regenerative medicine space, as well as technology companies in the consumer internet, software, telecommunications, and entertainment technology industries, as well as a number of leading venture capital firms. Prior to joining Gunderson Dettmer, Albert was a venture capital fund formation associate with Cooley LLP and a general business and litigation associate with Cleveland, Waters and Bass, P.A.
Albert was the Senior Managing Editor of the Vermont Law Review while in law school and graduated magna cum laude. Prior to law school, Albert graduated from Union College, magna cum laude, with a double major in classics and political science and a double minor in geology and philosophy. Albert is current a member of Union College’s alumni council. Publications include Crowdfunding and the JOBS Act: What Attorneys Need to Know, in the New Hampshire Bar News, and Sending a Message to the Other Branches: Why the Second and Third Circuits Properly Used the APA to Rule on Fleeting Expletives and How the New FCC Can Undo the Damage, in the Vermont Law Review. Albert served as a member of the New Hampshire Bar Journal Editorial Board from 2011 to 2015.
